HENRIQUE! IT'S FINALLY OVER; Breaking: New Jersey Devils Agree to Terms on Multi Year Deal with Henrique

12:30 Pm

The Devils have just announced that Henrique was signed for six years, $24 million dollars.

That's an annual of $4 mil.

You have to wonder what this means to the Devils pursuit of Damien Brunner as well.

Stay tuned.

HENRIQUE! IT'S OVER! LITERALLY!

-- According to sources, and one of my insiders Beau Lardner, the New Jersey Devils have finally reached a multi-year agreement with Restricted Free Agent Adam Henrique.

After months of back and forth negotiations between Lou Lamoriello and Adam Henrique, both parties have officially reached an agreement. The deal is indeed a multi-year deal, but the terms and finances of the situation are yet to be disclosed.

Henrique, 23, is coming off a 16 point shortened season in which he played 42 games. Heading into his third NHL season, he has tallied 67 points in 117 games, and has the likes of being a big part of the Devils organization going forward.

Welcome back Adam!
