Senior CBS Sportswriter Danny Knobler is in attendance for tonights Double A Trenton Thunder game where he just reported that Alex Rodriguez hit an absolute bomb of a home run to put the Thunder up 2-0.
As expected, Alex Rodriguez is playing in his first of two rehabilitation assignment games. The home run was a shot to left field in a 2-0 count off of Philadelphia Phillies top pitching prospect Jesse Biddle.
With the Biogenesis suspensions looming and expected to be announced no later than Monday morning, one has to wonder if this was Alex Rodriguez's last ever competitive home run.
