Baltimore Orioles All-Star Center Fielder Adam Jones took to twitter last night, where he claimed that during Sunday's Orioles-Giants game a fan at AT&T Park threw a Banana at him.

The news does seem a bit shocking coming out of such a laid back cultured area such as San Francisco.
If you have look at some of the better San Francisco Giants over the years, three African-Americans top the list with Barry Bonds, Willie "Big Mac" McCovey, and "The Say Hey Kid" Willie Mayes - all of whom never seemed to have an issue playing in San Francisco.
Rest assured, Adam Jones is as humble a man as anyone else in baseball. Why would he make this up?
That said, San Francisco Giants Senior Director of Media Relations Jim Moorehead released a statement Sunday night saying;
"The Giants received no reports of any incident of anyone throwing an object onto the field in the bottom of the ninth inning. The club will follow up Monday by reviewing the stadium's security camera's."
