Jaromir Jagr Re-Signed by New Jersey Devils

It's official.

The Czech right winger has re-signed with the New Jersey Devils. As per usual, the terms of the contract have not, and most likely will not be release by Lou Lamoriello until free agency begins on July 1st.

Jagr - 42, has just been named one of the three finalist for the 2013-2014 Bill Masterson Memorial Trophy, an award that is given to the best NHL player who exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to the game of ice hockey.

The 6' foot 3" 230 pound forward was undoubtedly one of the top players for the Devils this season. He led the Devils in assists (43), points (67) , and was second in goals with 24. Jagr also finished the year with a team high +/- rating (+16), game winning goals [gwg] (6), and shots (231).

Jaromir Jagr will begin next season ranked sixth all- time in career points, seventh in career goals, and eighth in career apples, and the all-time NHL leader in gwg's with 124, including 18 overtime winners.

The fountain of youth anyone?
